Climate
Switzerland has clearly defined seasons. Spring is from March to May; summer from June to August; autumn/fall from September to November and Winter usually sets in by the end of November. From January to March, the temperature often drops below zero.
Culture
You will find a variety of local traditions, each belonging somehow to the canton and not particularly to the whole country. The country benefits from its German, French and Italian heritages and its many regions are distinctly different in both landscape and culture.
Religion
In Switzerland it is possible to practice your faith in an environment of respect, tolerance and discretion.
Travelling in Switzerland
Switzerland has a very advanced and safe railway system known for its punctuality and reliability. It links all major cities quickly and efficiently..
As many parts of Switzerland are very mountainous, not all areas are accessible by train. To reach places outside the cities you will have to catch a yellow “post bus/post coach”. These buses link cities with smaller residential areas and villages that do not have a direct railway connection.More information under the following llinks
