Undergraduate Studies at Swiss School

At the Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality, which was founded in 1966, a perfect learning environment has been created to offer hospitality management programs.

Hospitality management cannot be taught in theory alone; practical experience is necessary to get to know the business and to be successful in a competitive market. Our education programs are based on decision-making and responsibility, which refers to work and business related situations. Concrete daily exercises are the foundation of the education content and goals.

Multi-talented faculty, with a strong link to the working environment, impart not only the learning content but also personal experience. The knowledge base is taught in a blend of theoretical classes, practical training, hands-on work and self-study. The improvement of the important areas in both operational and managerial competencies is continuously evaluated. Final qualifications are gained through various target oriented exercises, projects and group work, together with examinations.

The German language division, HTF Hotel- und Touristikfachschule, is recognised by the government and the state of Graubünden. Students from the SSH Swiss School of Hotel and Tourism Management profit as the program follows the strict Swiss regulations of HTF division.
