Entry Requirements

Age

Minimum 18 years old, when entering Swiss School

Education Requirements

The following education is accepted for entry to Swiss School:

  • High School
  • International Baccalaureate 
  • A-Level
  • Gymnasium

Other higher secondary educational qualifications are accepted if they lead to university admission in the country where you have completed your diploma.

Should you be in your final year of secondary or high school education and wish to apply, you will be assessed on your results from previous years, for this you are required to submit certified transcripts. The results of your final exams and diploma can be submitted later, but prior to the start of your studies at Swiss School.

Language Requirements

Excellent written and verbal command of English is required. As proof, you are asked to submit one of the following international English certificates:

  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a miminum score of 5.5
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), with a minimum score of
    525 (paper-based), 196 (computer-based), 69/70 (internet-based)
  • TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication), with a minimum score of 690
  • Evidence that English was the main medium of instruction during the last three years of your secondary/high school studies

Students with a score below the requirement have the option to attend the Language and Hospitality Preparation Course.
